If you were to go to just about anyone, and told them that love was a choice, and not a feeling, they would probably laugh in your face. That's because they don't have Christ within us like we do. They know nothing except what they feel, therefore love is a feeling.

“Meeting you was fate,

becoming your friend was a choice,

but falling in love with you I had no control over.”

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard! What most people think is love, is really just an attraction. You can say that you "fell in love at first sight" but you really didn't. You probably just thought the person was pretty or handsome. There's where the attraction came in.

Okay now for the picture from above. This picture came from Pirates of the Caribbean. Now I am NOT saying that you can find true love, from this movie. I'm just using examples. What I want to say a bible verse....

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves." -- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Now let's think about the "It does not envy" part. That's when I think of when Elizabeth tells Norrington, that if he save's Will's life, she will marry him. She was willing to marry the man she did not love(not even sure if she liked him) so she could save the man she did. Now in my opinion, that's awesome. I can't imagine me doing anything like that. And I can't neglect to say how loving Will was to Elizabeth, I love when he says to Jack "I'd die for her!". Just little things about movies encourage me.
